My Recent Thoughts

 I previously posted this on Facebook &  I am re-posting it here on my blog so it will forever be part of my story.

 

If you are okay with a Supreme Court that has no public policy for conduct or oversight, then keep voting for Republicans.
If you are okay with our government deciding what's best for a women's body, then keep voting for Republicans.
If you are okay with all these mass shootings & the massacring our children, then keep voting for Republicans.
If you are okay with more guns & less legislation on limiting access to them, then keep voting for Republicans.
If you are okay with the continuing hate being used against the LBGTQ community, Asians, people of Color, people with Disabilities,
Drag Queens & Disney, then keep voting for Republicans.
If you are okay with the lies about the last Presidential election & who won & a certain news network saying that January 6th was just a few folks wanting to take a peaceful tour of the Congress, then keep voting for Republicans.
If you are still okay with the slogan make America great again & it's spokesman, then keep voting for Republicans.
If you are okay with the banning of books & the teachings of only America's good history, then keep voting for Republicans.
If you are okay with one groups own personal religious beliefs becoming the rule for all, then keep voting for Republicans.
If you haven't figured out that absolute power corrupts absolutely, then keep voting for Republicans.
If you are okay with doing the same thing over & over & expecting a different result, then keep voting for Republicans.
If you want a different outcome & have been praying for peace, then please start choosing thoughtfully when voting for

        I've sat back for over these past four years & kept silent as the daily Facebook political posts supporting our now ex-President became even more alarming...Now it's my turn to make my voice known...I can not sit idle any longer...This posting is lengthily & it's my space to write down my thoughts so be fore warned...      Well here it is March 25, 2021 & 563,530 fellow Americans are gone because of the pandemic...We had an inept President & administration for whom facts just didn't matter...The most important duty of a President is to protect us all from foreign & domestic harm & he failed miserably...He has still exhibited no empathy or apology...It still continues to be everyone else's fault..What an inept disgrace of a leader & American... There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:

 Well it is almost vacation time!  Never thought I would be closing the Cafe for a week of r&r, but the timing is right.  With the loss of my Mom, the re occurrence of my spinal stenosis which brings on a pain that is sometimes unbearable, the fact that Ella Mae is on Spring Break from her duties @ SU & finally I'm pooped!  If you have followed me on this blog than you know I have 'put it out there' that running a small business & most notably a food business, can take a lot out of you.  The fact that I open & close 5 days a week & do all the cooking & dare I say it I am almost 64!  That last reason would be enough for most, but I love what I do even when 'stuff' comes @ me.  Some times these factors are self inflicted but really most are just events that life can bring to any one of us.  So the Cafe will be closed from Monday March 11 & reopen on Monday March 18.  EM & I are driving down to spend time with...
