"How Great Is Our God" Sing With Me.....

Great week @ the Cafe. Sales were steady & a lot of new 'faces'. Friday was the best day & not just for how busy we were, but because of some of the 'folks' that stopped in. Bill & Rosemarie, Dick & Sandy, Cousin Anthony, Susan & Aunt Mary...Also Pastor Ken & Michele (who are Friday regulars) also Ronna, Sydney & a guest. Also so many good 'folks' thank you all....
We also catered a rehearsal dinner & the menu consisted of Ziti, meatballs, pulled pork, macaroni salad, potato salad, a fruit tray & a veggie tray. So as I began, I will end. We had a great week @ the Cafe & a super fun Friday for which I am so thankful. Thanks for all your support & prayers for our success. Thank you God for sustaining us all & He alone deserves our praise.....

I've sat back for over these past four years & kept silent as the daily Facebook political posts supporting our now ex-President became even more alarming...Now it's my turn to make my voice known...I can not sit idle any longer...This posting is lengthily & it's my space to write down my thoughts so be fore warned... Well here it is March 25, 2021 & 563,530 fellow Americans are gone because of the pandemic...We had an inept President & administration for whom facts just didn't matter...The most important duty of a President is to protect us all from foreign & domestic harm & he failed miserably...He has still exhibited no empathy or apology...It still continues to be everyone else's fault..What an inept disgrace of a leader & American... It's amazing to me that he continues to be unfazed & that his cult members still support him...The lies & conspiracy theories continue & we are more divided &...

If you are okay with a Supreme Court that has no public policy for conduct or oversight, then keep voting for Republicans. If you are okay with our government deciding what's best for a women's body, then keep voting for Republicans. If you are okay with all these mass shootings & the massacring our children, then keep voting for Republicans. If you are okay with more guns & less legislation on limiting access to them, then keep voting for Republicans. There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:

Well it is almost vacation time! Never thought I would be closing the Cafe for a week of r&r, but the timing is right. With the loss of my Mom, the re occurrence of my spinal stenosis which brings on a pain that is sometimes unbearable, the fact that Ella Mae is on Spring Break from her duties @ SU & finally I'm pooped! If you have followed me on this blog than you know I have 'put it out there' that running a small business & most notably a food business, can take a lot out of you. The fact that I open & close 5 days a week & do all the cooking & dare I say it I am almost 64! That last reason would be enough for most, but I love what I do even when 'stuff' comes @ me. Some times these factors are self inflicted but really most are just events that life can bring to any one of us. So the Cafe will be closed from Monday March 11 & reopen on Monday March 18. EM & I are driving down to spend time with...
