'Chugging Along'.....

We had a great sales day today, (Friday 11/4) our best so far!....We sold out of fish & mac & cheese...
Thanks to all.....All things must come to an end and so goes our '$2. Breakfast Special'....The last day of the year we will bid it adieu.....We believe we have a great breakfast menu @ great prices & hope that this 'special' led people to try us out and will keep them coming back.....A business can not offer a 'loss leader' forever and survive and so we must move on.....This Saturday was our final Men's Meeting @ the Cafe and next week we will return to our church, Liverpool Community......It has been a good time of Men's fellowship and sharing and learning about what God has for us....
Now we move on to the winter season and more challenges.....Hopefully our free delivery will get 'folks' to order in!....We have some coupons now in the 'Clipper Magazine' and have already gotten some new customers through them....I am very encouraged by the good comments we have heard about our food and service.....It makes us feel like we are on the right track as this train keeps chugging along......As always thanks to all for your support and prayers for our continued success......

 I previously posted this on Facebook &  I am re-posting it here on my blog so it will forever be part of my story.   If you are okay with a Supreme Court that has no public policy for conduct or oversight, then keep voting for Republicans. If you are okay with our government deciding what's best for a women's body, then keep voting for Republicans. If you are okay with all these mass shootings & the massacring our children, then keep voting for Republicans. If you are okay with more guns & less legislation on limiting access to them, then keep voting for Republicans. There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:

 Well it is almost vacation time!  Never thought I would be closing the Cafe for a week of r&r, but the timing is right.  With the loss of my Mom, the re occurrence of my spinal stenosis which brings on a pain that is sometimes unbearable, the fact that Ella Mae is on Spring Break from her duties @ SU & finally I'm pooped!  If you have followed me on this blog than you know I have 'put it out there' that running a small business & most notably a food business, can take a lot out of you.  The fact that I open & close 5 days a week & do all the cooking & dare I say it I am almost 64!  That last reason would be enough for most, but I love what I do even when 'stuff' comes @ me.  Some times these factors are self inflicted but really most are just events that life can bring to any one of us.  So the Cafe will be closed from Monday March 11 & reopen on Monday March 18.  EM & I are driving down to spend time with...
